A horseshoe and a date in the wet concrete represent the completion of a 13-foot-deep slab of concrete forming the base of a 32-story residential tower as part of the City Creek Center at the corner of West Temple and South Temple in Salt Lake City. Construction workers, who began pouring concrete Friday, put the finishing touches on the footing on Saturday.
