Police search for parking lot robber
ST. GEORGE — Police are searching for man who robbed a woman in the middle of a Wal-Mart parking lot.
The incident happened about 9:15 p.m. Thursday at the Wal-Mart in Bloomington. Police said a woman was getting out of her car to go into the store when a man approached her, demanding money.
"He then displayed a pistol," said St. George Police Sgt. James Van Fleet.
The woman gave the man cash, and he fled. Police said the man is described as about 5-foot-9 with a heavy build, dark brown hair combed back and wearing a red T-shirt and cargo-style khaki shorts.
