THE MORMON MILE is a non denominational race to commemorate Pioneers.

The Mormon Mile will be held at the This is the Place Heritage Park, in Salt Lake City, on Labor Day, Sept. 1, 2008, at 8 a.m. The park is located at 2601 East Sunnyside Avenue.

This race is designed to be family friendly with a special family rate, and will wind throughout the Park, starting at the Smoot House, and finishing at the Brigham Young Home at the West end of the Park.

The course is part pavement and part gravel and has a hill, so it is designed for real Pioneer runners.
