The Utah Attorney General's Office will conduct a test of its AMBER Alert system Tuesday.

The AMBER Alert is an emergency alert system put over radios, TVs, freeway signs, text messages and Web sites to notify the public about an abducted child. The test is conducted on Aug. 26 every year, to memorialize the date that 3-year-old Rachael Runyan was kidnapped near her home in Sunset in 1982.

The case has never been solved.
