Dixie campus gets upgrades
ST. GEORGE Dixie State College has made some changes that school officials hope make students feel more at home.
Dixie State officials say they want the two-year school to feel more like a four-year institution.
Some of the changes included minor renovations to the Old Gym. Rooms were painted, cleaned and restructured. There's an additional workout area as well as a new TV lounge area.
Study rooms with wireless Internet were also added.
Campus officials say they wanted to give students a place to socialize and relax in between classes. Or the students can also find a quiet place to study.
