GUANGZHOU, China — At first glance, TT Yeung and Benjamin Ubah are as different as two adult men can be — the former an older, shorter Hong Kong native who is married with two older children, and the latter a younger, taller, single but engaged man with Nigerian roots.

And yet they share many things as fellow members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guangzhou, a bustling commercial city of 10 million-plus in the southern reaches of the People's Republic of China.
