Just in time for the live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast," DeCluttr put together a new map that shows each state's favorite Disney princess.

A live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast” hits theaters Friday. It’s no question Utahns will head out to see it.

But Belle, the lead character of the tale, isn’t Utah’s favorite Disney princess. According to a recent survey from DeCluttr, Moana from “Moana” tops Utah’s list of favorite Disney princesses.

DeCluttr put together the map using Google search data to find each state’s favorite princess. Moana proved to be the favorite in Utah, Alaska, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan and Mississippi.

Elsa from “Frozen” topped the list in eight states (Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas).

Pocahontas led in seven states (Alabama, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia, where the story takes place).

Belle led in six states (Arizona, Idaho, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington).

Geography played a significant role. “Sleeping Beauty” proved popular in Midwestern states, and Snow White was tops in sunny states like California, Texas and Nevada.
