Mmmmmouthwatering summer favorites -
warm and ripe from the garden tomatoes, corn, berries, cantaloupe, watermelon, cukes, squashes, apricots, lettuces and herbs. Nothing else like totally fresh, picked young greens and all the fixings. A drizzle of olive oil, a splash of balsamic vinegar, a sprinkle of herbs - yummy, yummy.

Looking forward to the roasted fall veggies, too. :o)

That;s because the watermelons at this time of year are Green River Melons!

I strongly agree. I don't even want those foods out of season. There's a right time for everything. Hold off on the pumpkin pies and chili, it's still summer.

My family left Utah 13 years ago and just last week my 20-something year-old-boys were saying they've never had a watermelon as good as the ones we had in Utah. For me it's the fresh peaches from Brigham - there's not another peach that good in the world! But I do have to add mangos as a favorite now that I live in the south.
