Plenty of evidence for spying on TrumpDo the homework
@moderateYou're about about Gorbachev and the wall, but
everything after that is my point. The 80's called and want their history
back. After communism in Russia fell they became a democratic govt.
and a U.S. ally all the way up to Obama. Until Obama took down the Ukrainian
govt & took control of their oil. People want to know why Putin invaded
Crimia and the Ukrain, well know you now.Putin didnt like Obama for
a very good reason, because we got in the way of some of their oil reserves
which happen to be tied to Syria. If any of you think the U.S. had nothing to do
with the problems in the middle east then you need to do your home work. Obama
and the muslim brotherhood caused more chaos in the middle east than Great
Brittain did before WWII.Just as GW Bush got us into wars Obama can
be blamed for the mess in the middle east.We havnt had a real
president that didnt have globalist agendas since WWII.The fact that
our inteligence community is conducting illegal electronic surveilance on
politicians including would be President Trump is the real problem. Trump has
good reason to believe someone was listening in on conversations on team trump,
it was the CIA/FBI. Not Obama
Documents show collusion between democrats and rigging the election, but who
cares if it's a crime?
@ SLars"And how did that investigation end?"I
think its status is the same as the investigation into voting fraud,
Obama's citizenship, New Jersey Muslims cheering the downing of the Twin
Towers, etc., etc. Soon to be joined there, it seems, by the investigation into
Obama wiretapping Trump Tower. American carnage indeed!
The congrressional investigation is on going. I guess the dnews didnt know
KarenAnd how did that investigation end?
@ SLars"That story came out way before the elections, and
nothing was said about their ties to Russia."Except the stories
about this possibility, including the one you cited by the NY Times?
Karen RThat story came out way before the elections, and nothing was
said about their ties to Russia. No proof on Trump's associates, proof on
Clinton. Are we being fair? Both parties try to divert attention.
@ SLars"Sounds to me like the Clintons are just trying to shift
blame."Wow, that took some leaps to get it 'round to Trump.
But conspiracy theories are so easy in that way, aren't they? I wonder if
Trump will pick up on this one. Or am I really speaking to him right now?!Mr. Trump, sir? If that's you, can I offer one suggestion, please?
Stop trying so hard to get people to look somewhere else. It makes you look
frantic and suspicious. So does tweeting during a hearing, like you're
desperate to control the narrative. If you really have nothing to worry about,
relax - it'll be okay.
Vel Comrades...It seems Donald Trump has more connections with the Kremlin
than just his wives, beauty pageants, many in administration who have quit, been
fired, or recused themselves due to Russian ties - let alone that British MI6
dossier on him...What amazes me more is those who CONTINUE to ignore
facts and reality, and defend Donald Trump tooth and nail no matter what.To them, is it really "America First"? or is it more
Trump first, along with the Russians, first?
Karen RAlso from the New York times, the Clintons had dealings with
Russia. Several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been
major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and
his family. "Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off
to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the
sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity
in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with
implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee
composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies.
Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then
headed by Mr. Clinton's wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton."Sounds to me like the Clintons are just trying to shift blame. So far no
evidence on Trump, but Hillary was instrumental in approving 20% of our
governments uranium stockpile to Russia.
Sportsfan "before Obama Russia was considered an Ally"I can still
hear Ronald Reagan's voice as he says "My dear good friend Mr
Gorbachav, let's tear down this wall that separates two long time friends
and collaborative allies."
Trump's arrogance causes him to believe he was spied on.
@marxistDo you really think Obama is naive enough to leave a paper
trail to leave evidence behind of listening in a political oponent?I'd think not, if so he'd have to use his once executive privilege
to seal up any such record, just like he did with fast and furious. If you think
Obama is beyond conducting any such nefarious activity then I cant help you. I believe all politicians are corrupt, doesnt matter if they are
republican or democrat, they're all corrupted with money and power.
Belonging to a specific political party is just a means to get elected. As far as Trumps aides having any collusion with Russia doesnt bother me,
before Obama Russia was considered an Ally, now they're our biggest
geo-political foe, and the Obama administration has ties to the topling of the
once pro-russian Ukrainian govt. I think is a bigger concern. The fact that Joe
Bidens son Hunter and John Kerrys step son Chris Heinz both atty's were put
into high level positions at the largest energy/oil firm in the Ukrain called
Burisma after the topling of their govt should raise some eye brows. But noone
talks about that. And you wonder why Putin didnt like Obama, now you know.
@Sportsfan123 "If the inteligence community can listen in to anyone they
want their will be no evidence of it. "But there will be a paper
authorization trail. That's the way government works. The entire western
world monitors Russian traffic. That's why everyone is tuned in. The
Russians are targeted, not Trump. So Trump data is a side benefit from my point
of view.BTW, Sportsfan, don't you care if the Trumps are in
cahoots with the Russians?
@ Sportsfan123"The CIA, NSA, FBI all govt law enforcement
agencies have access to modern day technology that literally permits them to
listen in, copy, store just about any conversation by using everyones devices
such as lap tops, tablets, cell phones, PC's....etc"you
forgot to mention microwave ovens
Apparently, no conspiracy, no matter how outlandish, is beyond the reach of
President Trump nor of his apologists. And apparently, no matter what
evidence is presented to show that President Trump and his apologists have
misconstrued the truth, the President and his supporters deny said evidence.Folks, we are in real trouble. And it emanates from the White House now
and the people who refuse to see truth.
Wire tapping is like using a type writer to write your mid-term paper in
college......laughable!That said, since wiretapping is obsolete and
probably hasnt been is use for well over a decade, it is easy to connect the
dots here. The CIA, NSA, FBI all govt law enforcement agencies have access to
modern day technology that literally permits them to listen in, copy, store just
about any conversation by using everyones devices such as lap tops, tablets,
cell phones, PC's....etcThere was no wiretap, the Dems and the
libs are correct, even the MSM is reporting something correct for once. Which
lends to the question why the NY times published an article about wire tap data
being used to investigate Trump aides in their supposed collusion with the
Russian's. Now the NY Times is reporting just the opposite, hmmmmm. If the inteligence community can listen in to anyone they want their
will be no evidence of it. So since all kinds of info had been leaked of
conversations by Trump aides, Trumps conversation with the Mexican President,
German Chancelors texts and phone conversation. Just because there is no
evidence doesnt mean it wasnt done, com'n dems and libs its obvious.
My science teachers always seemed to be trying to educate me, "Absence of
evidence is NOT evidence." Apparently this is not the first principle of
intelligence agencies. Or journalists.
German President Merkel's cell phone is tapped. Her text messages are
recorded.General Flyn's phone conversation is recorded,
transcribed and leaked to the press.President Trump's phone
conversation to President of Mexico is recorded, transcribed, and leaked to the
press. But not Trump's people when Trump ran for President.
Hmm.No one believes that Trump and his people were not spied on.
What? Zero evidence? How could Trump, who is so extremely diligent about
checking facts before commenting, tweeting or repeating anything, be wrong? This
can't be possible. Must be the crooked media reporting alternative facts.
@ SLars"So the New York Times lied? 'Wiretap data used in
inquiry of Trump aides.' They can take down the link to the
article..."The link I found still works. And it does indeed
talk about surveillance being used in an inquiry into Trump aides. Surveillance
of Russians.I'm still waiting for the evidence of collusion -
I've not heard of there being any yet - but you have to admit that some of
the people Trump surrounded himself with during the campaign had a curious
number of contacts/connections with Russians. If the info we have proves
anything, it does prove that.
General Flynn was wire tapped, and he was in the Trump Tower.
Moreover virtually all European countries have been monitoring Russian media
traffic. They know all about Trump & Co. involvement with Russia.
@SLars "Wiretap data used in inquiry of Trump aides." I'm sure in monitoring Russian traffic some contacts by them with the
Trump team were accessed. That's why we know Trump's team were
coordinating with the Putin government.
By making statement after statement that turns out not to be true, he erodes the
office of the president. If Trump isn't careful, he will lose
the trust of everyone. Credibility is something that is earned.
So the Trump administration is collapsing under the weight of its own lies. One
day, those associated with Trump will be asked: How could you have supported
such deceit, causing harm to America and the world? Their answer will be: We
were just following orders.
@SLars, did you actually read the article? It didn't say anything about
Trump Tower or Trump himself being wiretapped. His aides were having
conversations with Russian officials and those Russian officials were tapped.
The article is easily searchable and available.
So the New York Times lied? "Wiretap data used in inquiry of Trump
aides." They can take down the link to the article, and block the internet
archive from archiving their site, but they can't get back the newspapers
and pictures that people saved on their computer.
Trump's incredible disconnect from facts, reality, discretion, and civility
is incredible. Yet more so is his willingness to defend it when demonstrably his
claims are disproven. This is a serious character flaw in any person. But
in the president, it is embarrassing and dangerous, too.
There may have been spying on Trump Tower, just not by the US.How much do
you trust your comrades, Mr Trump? If I was influencing an election,
I'd want to keep tabs on my puppet.
